“I am a medical doctor with a 73-year old mother who contracted severe cardiomyopathy. The cardiomyopathy was confirmed by ultrasound with a Left Ventricle Ejection Fraction (LVEF) of 35% (normal is 60%). There was enlargement of the left ventricle with hypokinesis of the LV. My mother continued to have decreasing exercise tolerance. By next year her clinical condition continued to worsen and she was given 1-4 years to live with a higher probability of one year. The follow-up LVEF was 20% with severely decreased contractility with aortic regurgitation.
She was sent to a cardiothoracic surgeon in Dallas, Texas. The different causes of cardiomyopathy considered were direct toxicity, autoimmune caused by chemicals or a virus, and nutritional deficiency, in particular selenium. To counteract the direct toxicity she was put on a sauna treatment program that mobilized the fat-soluble toxins in her body. She was tested by serial dilution injection of antigens and then put on a desensitization injection regimen to counteract the autoimmune response. To counteract the nutritional deficiency, she was given IV minerals and vitamins.
She was also given IV CoQ10 and also a bioavailable oral CoQ10 from Solanova. This is the first line drug for congestive heart failure in Japan. It sort of acts like the spark plug for the heart. It has very little side effects. However, it is extremely important to take an easily available form in high enough doses.
At the end of the two-and-one-half months stay in Dallas, she improved clinically. LVEF by ultrasound improved to 27%. She continued to take sauna, antigen shots, oral minerals and vitamins, and bioavailable CoQ10 400mg/day from Solanova. She continued to improve. Finally, a follow-up ultrasound showed a LVEF of 60%, and her cardiologist in Hawaii declared her heart normal, a "miraculous"" recovery in his own words. As of the writing of this letter, she continues to do well.”
